Family tour · 2.5 hours

A gentle tour of the coast with time for fishing along the way. Great for children and first-timers.

Up to 6 hours

Full day sea angling

Our full-day trip gives you the most time on the water. On a good day we can head out towards the deep Atlantic ground near the Skelligs. That is where you have the best chance of bigger fish such as ling, pollack and cod.

We usually fish a few different marks over the day. Some are over rough ground and reefs. Others are over sand, where you might pick up rays and flatfish. We move around to keep the fishing going.

Bring a packed lunch and something warm to drink. It is a long day and the sea air will give you an appetite.

3 hours

Half day sea angling

The half-day trip is the one most people choose. Three hours is enough time to get out, fish a couple of good marks and come home with a catch.

We usually stay closer to Valentia and the mouth of the harbour, where the water is more sheltered. It suits beginners, holidaymakers and anyone fitting a trip around other plans. Times vary with the tides, so ask Daniel what suits.

2.5 hours

Family trip

Our family trip is a mix of sightseeing and fishing. We take a gentle run along the coast so you can see the harbour, the cliffs and the seabirds. Then we stop in calm water and everyone gets a go at fishing.

Children love it. In the summer the mackerel are usually around and they bite well, so even small children tend to catch something. There are lifejackets on board for adults and children.

You do not need any experience. We show everyone what to do and help with every fish.
