Our boat
Meet Saint Colette II
Our boat is Saint Colette II, a Cygnus Cyfish 33. She is 11 metres long and was built in the UK to a very high standard. Cygnus boats have a name for being strong and steady in open water, which is exactly what you want off the Kerry coast.
She runs on a 425 hp Cummins diesel engine. She cruises at 14 knots and has a top speed of 26 knots. That means less time getting to the fishing grounds and more time with a line in the water.

On board
Plenty of room to fish
The Cyfish has a wide, open deck with lots of space to fish from the back and the sides. Nobody is squeezed in and there is room to land a good fish without getting in each other’s way.
The wheelhouse sits at the front of the boat. It gives you somewhere to get out of the wind and the rain between drops. It is also where the skipper watches the sounder to find the fish.
Safety
Safe and fully licensed
Saint Colette II is fully licensed by the Department of Transport to carry passengers and is fully insured. She carries the safety equipment a licensed passenger boat needs, and there are lifejackets on board for every guest, adults and children.
Your skipper has fished these waters for years. We watch the forecast and the sea closely, and we only go out when it is safe to do so. If the weather turns, we come home.
